Sangameshwar Birajdar, born with Cogenital defects in both legs, got introduced to competitive para games in 2019.
Participated at State Level Championship in three events - Discuss Throw, Javelin Throw and Shotput Throw. However selected Javelin Throw as the prime event. Has won many State and National level Championships from 2022 to 2024 and World Championships in 2025.

Contribution to Collective Aspiration for Rural Empowerment (C.A.R.E) for promoting rural sports amongst women

Mitsu Chem Plast Limited as part of its CSR activities through Mitsu Foundation contributed to Collective Aspiration for Rural Empowerment (C.A.R.E) for promoting sports amongst women especially Table Tennis during the launch of their event “SHE- PADDLE” in August 2025.
The said event was organized to launch a book comprising profiles of legendary athletes, interviews and their anecdotes. The launch of the said book was aimed to inspire young girls to pursue sports and showcasing the importance of female representation in athletics.
Providing Financial assistance to poor and needy patients through Jeevan Jyot Cancer Relief and Care Trust

Jeevan Jyot Cancer Relief and Care Trust works for the welfare of the needy and poor patients with Cancer and major medical ailments enabling an easy cycle for patients right from investigation to diagnosis, treatment and post treatment care by providing medical guidance, monetary guidance, medical aid, free food and medicines and sick bed services.
The Trust has successfully served more than 7+ lakhs patients and their relatives in last 38 years with 30+ paramedical services/activities, around 700+ patients having free meals everyday and has organized 500+ medical camps.
The trust also provides financial help to Cancer patients coming from rural areas for which the Trust approached Mitsu Chem Plast Limited for seeking contribution.
Mitsu Chem Plast Limited through Mitsu Foundation made a contribution as part of its CSR activities in August 2025 for providing financial assistance to poor and needy patients suffering from cancer.
